One of only a few properties with direct lake access and a private boat launch, Kairos on the Lake offers guests a special holiday in a truly unique piece of paradise!
With free use of all recreational facilities and watersport equipment, you can SUP, canoe, fish or swim in the lake; relax at the swimming pool or enjoy a game of tennis, pool or table tennis. Toast spectacular sunsets from our jetty or snuggle up in front of the TV. We have uninterrupted WiFi, so you’re always connected!
Your fur-friends can run and play freely around the property which is fully enclosed.

SWIMMING IN THE LAKE
There is excellent fishing right off the jetty. You’ll require patience but will be rewarded by big Grunter (sand prawn or white muscles) and the occasional Garrick (live bait). Even the big 30kg monsters visit the shallows. Out in the lake there are also cob and elf and of course stumpnose and mullet.

BIRD WATCHING
Common Birds – Knysna lorries, malachite kingfishers, brown-headed kingfisher’s, crakes, swamp hens, southern boubous, fish Eagle, moorhens, cormorants, egrets, dik kops, drongos, wagtail’s, bulbuls, cape Weavers, bishop’s, black-backed gulls, gray-headed sparrows, black-headed oriole. The drongos will often eat cheese from your hand first thing in the morning.
